Suniel Shetty Fitness Mantra
Suniel Shetty reiterated that fitness is no more about six-pack abs or flat stomachs or weight in control. It is about being in a great space mentally as well, he added.
What is his focus now in his 62nd year of life?
What the pandemic taught us all
He says COVID taught us to care for ourselves and our family members and others. Fitness is non-negotiable, it’s no more just nice to be fit, it’s important and a need to be fit. We owe it not just to ourselves, but also to the family, Shetty added.
He reminds us of what helped us survive and beat COVID, especially in India where Yoga, Ayurveda, and family values assumed significant importance along with modern medicine, precautionary SOPs, and vaccines.
He says one must stay active whether it be jogging, walking, running, cycle. Even at work, don’t be at your desk or on your laptop all the while, get up and stay active.
Be an inspiration to people, and be accountable to nobody else but yourself. If you are healthy, it means you are wealthy.
I get asked about my fitness a lot. People are usually looking for a secret sauce or a magical fix. Unfortunately, there are none.
The good thing though is that fitness is actually a lot simpler than it’s made out to be. With an overload of information, we tend to complicate things.
The great thing is, the HOW part becomes a lot simpler once you figure out the WHY part.
Through this video I’ll make a few points that will hopefully address the WHY part,
– What is fitness and why has it been so important to me
– How fitness has helped me in my entrepreneurial journey
– Why I still prioritise fitness, even at age 62
– Why you NEED TO focus on your health
– How being fit and healthy will help YOU in your professional journey
Following a pandemic that changed the world as we knew it – we owe this to our family and ourself.
That being fit & healthy will have the most positive impact on your life, professionally, is just a bonus.
Just remember – focus on WHY you need to do it, and the HOW will fall into place.
Wishing everyone a healthier, happier and a more impactful life
